On Thursday, December 12, a team of AMGC archaeology PhD students, led by Professor Ralf Vandam, hosted an engaging workshop for 5th-grade elementary students in Schaerbeek. The event offered the young participants an interactive introduction to the fascinating world of archaeology, providing hands-on experience with the tools and techniques archaeologists use to uncover and study the past.
This inspiring workshop was made possible through a collaboration with TaDa – Toekomst Atelier Del’Avenir, a Brussels-based learning network dedicated to empowering young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. By offering workshops, weekend schooling, and an alumni network, TaDa helps nurture curiosity, confidence, and future opportunities for its participants.
