AMGC Seminars
The AMGC seminars consist of a series of talks, which combine presentations from international speakers and internal researchers and students. The aim is to increase the international visibility of the AMGC research group as well as improving the dynamism of the unit. These seminars are a great opportunity for Master's and Ph.D. students to practice their scientific presenting skills in a friendly and informal audience before participating in international conferences.
The seminars cover a wide range of subjects encompassing all the expertise of the AMGC research group, which covers fields like analytical and environmental chemistry, oceanography, geochemistry, and geoarchaeology and topics ranging from meteorites and oceans to dinosaurs and minerals.
These seminars are public and everybody is kindly invited to attend and participate. Location: 10F Chemistry seminar room. For most of the seminars a zoom link is also provided.
An email with the meeting link is sent out earlier in the week; if you wish to be added to the mailing list, please let the organizing team know.
For more information or to propose speakers, please contact Pieter Rodts, Sybrien Lievens or Maxwell Thiemens who are in charge of the seminar organisation.
