Dr. Dina Cabrita
Biography
Research summary:
I am a geoscientist with a keen interest in the application of geochemistry and geochronology to topics such as deformation, supercontinent assembly, and Solar System evolution. During my PhD, I integrated a research group to study the thermal and chronological history of Precambrian terranes in Brazil. My works focused on understanding deformation and orogenesis through the continental lithosphere, combining geochemistry, geochronological, metamorphic, and deformational data. Currently, I’m investigating the Al-Mg isotopic system and achondrite chemistry.
Current project:
Achondrite dating using Al-Mg chronometer
