
Dr. Zhuangsen Wang
Biography
Zhuangsen’s is now a post-doctoral researcher at Ghangzhou Institute of Gechemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
He has defended with success his PhD on June 4th 2025 at the College of Geosciences and Surveying Engineering, China University of Mining & Technology, Beijing, China.
In 2023 - 2024, he was a visiting PhD student funded by the China Scholarship Council working with Prof. Philippe Claeys at AMGC.
RESEARCH SUMMARY:
1) Occurence state and enrichment of critical metal on Late Carboniferous karstique bauxite deposits
2) Multi- provenance analysis for the critical metal (e.g. Li, B and REEs) of Carboniferous karst bauxite in NCC
4) Paleoenvironment controls and influences (Late Paleozoic Ice Age (LPIA), and provenance) on the critical metal enrichment mechanism
