Pim Kaskes, PhD student working on Chicxulub crater is one of the 2022 winners of the Career Development Award from the Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) presented this year at the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in Houston Texas. Pim is attending the meeting to present his last research results.
LPI citation "The award is given to graduate students who have submitted a first-author abstract for presentation in-person or virtually at the 53rd Lunar and Planetary Science Conference (LPSC). The awards are based on a review of the application materials by a panel of planetary scientists, and recipients will receive funds to help cover their expenses for attending the hybrid conference. This year, the LPI received applications from the United States, India, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, and the United Kingdom".
