Biography
Nathalie Pil studied mathematics at UCLL and archaeology at VUB, where she currently works as a research associate.
As a zooarchaeologist and microwear analyst, she previously examined craft production on bone artefacts and its significance in the emergence of supraregional trade and market structures in the North Sea Basin. She also contributed to the research on the Merovingian artefact collection at the Gallo-Roman Museum in Tongeren.
She currently works on TESTEREP, an interdisciplinary research project, exploring the evolution of the Belgian coastal landscape over the past 5000 years.
