PROJECT TITLE
Research on Early Cretaceous clam shrimp from northern Hebei and the paleoenvironmental background
RESEARCH SUMMARY:
My research focuses on the Early Cretaceous Jehol Biota in northern Hebei, China, a critical region for understanding the early development of this exceptional fossil ecosystem. I integrate clam shrimp biostratigraphy with multi-proxy geochemical analyses to reconstruct paleoenvironmental conditions and identify global climate events such as the Weissert Event and OAE1a. The goal is to establish a high-resolution stratigraphic framework that elucidates terrestrial ecosystem responses to Cretaceous climatic perturbations.
