On December 13, AMGC archaeology PhD student Elisavet Stamataki delivered an insightful presentation at the 14th Annual Day on Belgian Archaeological Research in the Ancient Greek World. Hosted by the Belgian School at Athens, the event took place in the lecture hall of the Royal Museums of Art and History (Musées royaux d’Art et d’Histoire/ Koninklijke Musea voor Kunst en Geschiedenis) in Brussels. Elisavet's lecture explored the fascinating impact of seasonal variations on the cremation process.
Additionally, MA student Yasmine Cornelissen, a VUB archaeology student affiliated with AMGC, presented her thesis research. Her study focused on Late Roman metal production on Cyprus.
Both presentations reflect the depth and diversity of research conducted within AMGC, highlighting the center's commitment to advancing archaeological scholarship.
